Summer Lovin'

Summer is a time for fun, friends and flings. I love the way this outfit is so effortless. this is totally something I would throw together in summer in RL. During the hottest season, one does not have the time to carefully piece together an outfit. So i thought i'd mirror the effortlessness of my favorite season. The top is a beautiful creation from Modd.G that can be changed into a dress, top or mini dress. The shorts are my trusty faded booty shorts from League. The shoes are an absolutely amazing design from Un Torque Quil. It is really hard to find a pair of gladiator sandals on the grid, and these rock! The skin is my new obsession from Curio, and the hair is a cute style that comes in colors named 'snickers' and 'twix' (:

Studs 'n Silk

This is going to sound totally trippy but I looked up at the sky today in the Gossip Girl Courtyard and noticed that it is a really pretty blue. As the weather and colors surrounding me in rl usually affects the choices I make outfit-wise, I figured why not do the same in sl? I've teamed a blue silk man-style shirt dress with black patent leather ankle booties from Maitreya. To harden the whole look up, i've thrown on a black leather studded belt. Hair and makeup wise, I love red lipstick, so I am sporting my favourite Queen skin from Redgrave and a messy half up do from [detour].  They have beautifully done hair, so realistic!
